HONORARY LIFE MEMBERSHIPS
and
MEMORIAL AND RECOGNITION GIFTS
Updated March 7th,, 2005
Would you like to give a gift
that keeps on giving? Consider awarding an Honorary Life Membership or a
Memorial and Recognition Gift to a deserving person in your church. Either
will keep on giving. The funds derived from them are used to train
Enablers, support leader development events for women, and most of all,
provide scholarships for women who wish to train for mission
interpretation and support.
An Honorary Life Membership in
Presbyterian Women in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is conferred upon
an individual in recognition of faithful service in some area of the
church's work. Recipients have been PW Moderators, teachers, leaders,
officers, pastors, and missionaries. The group desiring to confer such an
honor, sends the completed form with a check for seventy-five dollars
($75.00) to the PW Treasurer in the presbytery.
Do you want to honor or recognize
a person without a stipulated amount? You can fill in the appropriate form
and attach a check in any amount for a Memorial and Recognition Gift.
If you need forms, they can be
downloaded from forms list or contact your
PW Enabler PEVA Treasurer, or PW PEVA Moderator.
