An Opportunity to Be a Clergy Coach!

  • Do you have a passion for vital, vibrant, healthy pastors and churches?
  • Do you enjoy working with other clergy and bringing out the best in them?
  • Are you interested in what it might mean to walk alongside other pastors as they journey through the joys and trials of ministry?

If so, please contact Chris Carrasco about the possibility of becoming a Clergy Coach. She is beginning a certification coaching program in September that is entirely virtual. The vision of the Congregational Vitality Team is to establish a coaching network in PEVA that would be available to help pastors develop as faithful leaders of increasingly more vibrant churches.  According to The Coaching Institute at Columbia Theological Seminary, “We are convinced that coaching is one of the most powerful tools the ecumenical church has for building the resilience and innovative spirit our pastors need to thrive in the changing religious landscape of America. Pastors who work with coaches say, ‘this revitalized my sense of call and helped me actually do the kind of ministry I’ve always wanted to do.’” If you want to learn more about this opportunity or if you would like to have a coach yourself, please contact Chris Carrasco at c.carrasco@kgpc.org or 757-340-2840.
