Congolese Children July 2010

Congo (DRC) Feed the Children Program-With funds obtained from the Thank Offering of Presbyterian Women in July of 2001, the PW Feed the Children Program was established in the Congo Presbyterian Church Kinshasa (CPK) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The administrator of the program is now operating in eight feeding centers. With funds which are being contributed on a regular basis by many of the PW organizations in the 62 churches of PEVA and especially from individual women in PEVA who have an  interest in seeing that starving children in CPK receive one good nutritious meal each day, the program is thriving.   The number of children who can be served is dependent on the contributions that continue to be sent for support of this program.    For a contribution of $25 one starving child can be feed one meal a day for a period of one month. For more information contact Barbara Newman or Jessica Fitzgerald.
